The sooner you get there, the more likely you are to get a parking spot as there's a festival there today. The trail and end are dog-friendly. There is a bar with food and a outdoor small concert venue with a big dirt/stone courtyard. However, outside alcohol is not allowed so no BYOB. Your feet will stay dry.
